Elias and Sara Donker grew up in the Wabash Valley, met in high school and married in 2003. Elias then served four years with the 101^st Airborne Division of the US Army, was promoted to Captain, and recently resigned his commission after returning home from his second combat tour in Iraq in order to come home to Indiana and fulfill the couples dream of a semi- self sustaining farm and nursery. The business is currently branched into produce and landscaping with a long- term goal of focusing on the wholesale nursery providing the highest quality trees and bushes to area landscapers and retailers. Beautiful and Green will be able to take advantage of locally grown products being more at home in the unique Indiana climate than out-of- state plants and will be able to offer much lower shipping costs to customers. We don’t want all the landscaping and retail business, we just want yours!
